Shorthand Language to use in Online Bingo Chat

Online bingo sites are known for having friendly and welcoming communities and it is no myth they really are a very friendly bunch of bingo players.

Youll see when you enter an online bingo chatroom that players are happy socialising and talking about other things besides bingo, but they are also very forthcoming with handy advice which makes a nice change to the giving of dirty looks that used to happen between players in bingo halls!

If you arent down with the bingo lingo so to speak then you will find all the mixed up letters very confusing indeed, but once you know what they mean it all becomes pretty simple.

Here is a list of some of the essential bingo chat phrases and what they mean:

LMAO- Is a little cheeky and means laughing my ass off. Bingo players will say this to each other when another person makes a very funny joke!

JK- Just kidding. Very useful when making sarcastic jokes during a bingo game. If you want to reiterate that you were only joking this is the shorthand for you.

*W*- Means wink. Good for flirting with other bingo players.

TTYL- Means talk to you later and a bingo player would use this when they are leaving a room but will be back later.

GG- Means good game. It is a nice touch to say this to the winning bingo player as it shows a bit of goodwill towards other players which is always nice.

TTFN- One of my favourites this means ‘ta ta for now’. Mainly used between bingo players that have already established a friendship with each other.

SRY- Means sorry. You dont see this being used all that much in bingo chatrooms but if someone says they are annoyed they havent won you can always say SRY to hear that to show that you care.
